You can already take screenshots from the command line on Linux and Mac OS X by using the various HTTP libraries like curl, wget and fetch. But there was no equivalent on Windows.
We are making browshot-cmd.exe, a command line tool, available on Windows to take screenshots through Browshot. The full documentation and download link are available on our website.
You can use browshot-cmd.exe to schedule screenshots on Windows.

You can override any HTTP header or add your own custom HTTP headers when loading a web page. We have added a new headers option to the API call screenshot/create and to the simple API. You can change the user agent (User-Agent), the list of accepted languages (Accept-Language), etc.
You can see simple code samples on our website. All versions of the Browshot libraries support additional options such as headers. You can specify multiple HTTP headers separated by a new line (\n or %0a).

We will upgrade all mobile browsers during the week-end of January 30th, 2016. The upgrade will start on Friday 29th at 8pm and will finish Sunday night at 10pm.
We will upgrade all browsers one after the other. We do not expect any down time or significant slow down while performing the upgrade.
The new version of the mobile browser will greatly improve the web page rendering on both Android and iOS. All mobile browsers will also be available in all countries (US, Germany and Australia).
Update
- all iPhone 5 instances have been upgraded
- all Nexus S instances have been upgraded
- all iPhone 4 instances have been upgraded
- all Nexus 7 instances have been upgraded
Other mobile browsers will be upgraded next week-end.

In our continuous effort to support our growth, we are increasing our capacity for desktop browsers about 3x. We will also have the possibility to support many more countries of origin. We will be upgrading our servers on Friday, September 11th at 8:30pm.
No downtime is expected.

Microsoft Edge, the new default browser on Windows 10, is now available at Browshot. There are few limitation, these features are not available with the new browser:
- size: page only, not full screen
- POST data, cookie and Referrer cannot be set
- No script can be injected before taking a screenshot
